Gisborough Hall has officially opened Sakura Spa, a new nature-inspired wellness destination at the North Yorkshire country house hotel, following an exclusive launch event. The opening marks a significant development for the hotel's spa and wellness offering.

Journalists, influencers and invited guests attended the launch, which included guided tours, treatment and sound bath experiences, a celebratory speech from Lord Gisborough and a preview of the spa's new dining concept, Koyo Restaurant.

Inspired by the natural world, Sakura Spa takes its name from the Japanese word for cherry blossom, a symbol of new beginnings. The spa has been designed as a peaceful sanctuary, combining contemporary wellness facilities with tranquil woodland surroundings.

Guests can now access a range of thermal experiences within the spa garden, including an outdoor vitality pool overlooking woodland views, a Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, salt steam room, cold plunge experience and dedicated relaxation areas. The treatment offering includes six treatment rooms, a couples' suite and a dedicated Sakura Head Spa, with treatments focused on relaxation and restoration.
