Fashionizer Spa creates bespoke uniforms for Meraki Wellness

Fashionizer Spa has created a collection of therapist uniforms for Meraki Wellness, a luxury wellness spa at The Watermark in Grand Cayman.
Founded by Peter Clarke and Shula Clarke, who have more than 40 years of combined experience in the wellness industry, Meraki Wellness takes its name from a Greek word describing the act of doing something with soul, creativity and love. This principle informed the spa's development, including its architecture, interiors, treatments, guest journey and staff clothing.
The founders approached Fashionizer Spa during the early planning stages, allowing the uniform company to become involved in the brand-building process before the spa opened. The collection was developed through regular conversations with the brand's studio in Richmond, followed by an in-person sample review.
The brief called for contemporary, high-quality clothing combining the ease of sportswear with the appearance expected in a luxury wellness setting. Loose silhouettes support freedom of movement, while oatmeal tones and white detailing reflect the spa's calm, natural interior scheme. Each garment also features a small white embroidered heart on the back, referencing the spa's “Wellness with Love” philosophy.
Dorota Ziolkowska, sales director at Fashionizer Spa, said:
“Working with Peter and Shula from such an early stage was a real privilege. When you are trusted to help shape a brand rather than simply supply to it as an afterthought, the result is always more considered and meaningful. Meraki Wellness, born of soul and love and designed across an ocean yet close to home, is exactly that kind of story.”
