Q Hair & Beauty staff support those in need

Two-year-old Hudson Lawrence, son of Q Hair and Beauty Communications Manager Nat Baker and General Manager Kain Lawrence, helps with delivery of items to those in need during the lockdown.

A Chichester hair and beauty salon has continued its fundraising during Lockdown 3.0 in support for several different local good causes including NHS frontline workers.

The Q Hair and Beauty team have always devoted time and effort to helping a wide range of charities and were determined to offer support during the pandemic.

All 54 members of Team Q took part in the fundraising, and were delighted to hand over £600 for NHS staff at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester.

Money was raised through sponsored walks, runs, cycling and horse riding. In addition, salon clients were encouraged to join in with a donation for full-sized hand and nail treatments and skin care packages including cleansers, toners and other products. A JustGiving page was also set up to boost the fundraising efforts.

Commenting on Team Q's fundraising achievements, Q Hair and Beauty General Manager, Kain Lawrence, says:

“In addition to this we have been donating food locally to the Tangmere Bush Shelter Campaign, buying pyjamas, toiletries and clothes for the women's refuge in Littlehampton, clothing and Easter eggs for another women's refuge, giving 15 packs to a local school for key workers.”

The Q Hair and Beauty team also recently fundraised £800 for the Neonatal Unit at St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, and supported NHS staff and keyworkers throughout the last year.
