Post-treatment skincare gets rename

Popular hydrating and post-treatment product Oxygenating Moisturiser has been renamed by Oxygenetix Institute Inc. as Oxygenating Hydro-Matrix.

The award-winning Aloe Barbadensis-based product soothes, hydrates and heals skin compromised by aesthetic treatments. Unlike some occlusive moisturisers, this product does not deprive the skin of oxygen, instead it increases oxygen uptake and allows the skin to breathe.

Behaving like a ‘second skin', Oxygenating Hydro-Matrix contains Oxygenetix's patented formula Ceravitae®. This yeast peptide allows oxygen to penetrate the skin and reinforce the natural healing process. It also contains Sodium PCA which increases the water content of the skin's top layers by drawing moisture from the surrounding air. Hyaluronic Acid binds to water, and antioxidant Grape Seed Extract provides antibacterial properties, soothes the skin and helps decrease the risk of infection.

Kort Pearson, CEO, Oxygenetix Institute Inc. says:

“We at Oxygenetix have changed the name of our product previously described as a ‘moisturiser' to Hydro-Matrix because the product is so much more than a simple moisturiser. While it does contain PCA and HA which are some of the best moisturising ingredients available, that is only a portion of this complex technology.

He adds:

“While many with acne or rosacea will experience inflammation and breakouts with a ‘moisturiser' their experience with Hydro-Matrix is quite the opposite. It is soothing and anti-inflammatory, and helps the skin clear and recover. Hydro-Matrix is a hydrating, light invisible breathable second skin that has benefits beyond any ‘moisturiser'. This is why we had to change the branding to make clear what an amazing and unique product Hydro-Matrix truly is!”

Clients can apply the non-irritant product daily to replace their regular moisturiser. It is available in three sizes to appeal for professional use a well as retail.

Oxygenating Hydro-Matrix is available in the UK from Medical Aesthetic Supplies Ltd.
