Celebrity hair stylists state importance of active listening
Hair brand Authentic Beauty Concept marked the relaunch of its Replenish product line with an event highlighting the importance of listening in the world of hair, creativity and client relationships.
Hairstylists and brand advocates Anna Cofone and Samantha Cusick (pictured) engaged in an insightful conversation unpacking the nuanced, unspoken language of hair artistry, asserting listening as the leading skill in their work.
During the discussion, Sam and Anna highlighted the importance of noticing clients' body language, personal style and emotional cues along with interpreting subtle details such as music preferences and mannerisms.
Anna drew on her experiences as a hair stylist to celebrities and fashion designers to emphasise how active observation of the person in the chair can build a foundation of trust.
Authentic Beauty Concept's Replenish range has been relaunched with new inclusive packaging featuring braille and NaviLens, both of which assist visually impaired users, enabling greater accessibility. The initiative marks the beginning of a global roll-out of accessible packaging across all new Authentic Beauty Concept product launches in the coming months.
