Use second lockdown to upskill, say CACI

CACI International has announced its training school, located at its head office in Elstree, Hertfordshire, will remain open for courses during England's COVID-19 lockdown period, encouraging salons and spas to use the opportunity to send staff on CACI training.

The company has taken extra measures to ensure that training is delivered in a COVID-secure way. Training groups have been reduced in size to ensure social distancing, and on arrival, delegates scan the NHS Track and Trace QR code and complete a mandatory health questionnaire, as well as have their temperature taken. Hand sterilising stations are located throughout the building, and PPE compliant surgical masks and visors are supplied and worn at all times. CACI also ensures two metre separation between delegates during theory sessions, while screen dividers are provided in the training rooms and breakout areas. The company also ensures that all contact touch points are sanitised every three hours throughout the day.

Government guidelines state that employees can undertake training whilst furloughed, giving them an opportunity to upskill and be up to speed on their return to work.

Commenting on CACI training during lockdown, Dean Nathanson, Managing Director at CACI International, says:

“We're encouraging our accounts to use this period to get their staff fully trained in all of CACI's latest treatments and innovations, safe in the knowledge that their attendance on training is not going to clash with their appointment diary.”
