TwiqkTalk opens up the conversations shaping the future of aesthetics

Twiqk is bringing some of the wider conversations shaping aesthetic medicine into focus through TwiqkTalk, its expert-led discussion series.
Designed to encourage informed and thought-provoking debate, the series brings together professionals and specialists from aesthetics, medicine, health and wellbeing to explore subjects that extend beyond individual treatments and procedures.
Previous TwiqkTalk episodes have addressed patient safety, psychology in aesthetics, women's health, longevity and healthy ageing, reflecting the increasingly broad range of factors influencing aesthetic practice.
As aesthetic medicine continues to evolve, these conversations highlight a wider move towards holistic, patient-centred care and greater understanding of the factors that can shape treatment decisions and outcomes.
Patient safety remains one of the profession's most important considerations, while understanding patient motivations and expectations is increasingly central to responsible aesthetic practice. Conversations surrounding women's health, longevity and healthy ageing also demonstrate how aesthetics intersects with broader issues around health, wellbeing and ageing.
Josh Sim, founder of Twiqk, said:
“There are important conversations taking place within aesthetics that go far beyond a particular treatment or technique. TwiqkTalk gives us the opportunity to explore those subjects properly with people who have genuine expertise and experience.
“We want the series to encourage thoughtful discussion around the issues concerning both clinicians and patients, whether that is patient safety, psychology, women's health or our changing understanding of healthy ageing.
“Ultimately, it is about creating a platform where experts can exchange ideas, challenge thinking and contribute to the sustained development of a responsible, educated and patient-focused aesthetics sector.”
TwiqkTalk aims to give practitioners and others working within aesthetics access to expert perspectives on some of the issues shaping the sector today.
