Platform launches to raise bar in non-surgical aesthetics

A new consumer education and practitioner verification platform has launched in response to growing scrutiny around patient safety, informed consent and practitioner standards.
Twiqk offers medically reviewed educational content, clinic finder and verified directory of qualified aesthetic practitioners registered with recognised UK bodies.
Founded by social entrepreneur and doctoral researcher Josh Sim, Twiqk is supported by an advisory board chaired by Professor Dr Patrick Treacy with content curated by specialist journalist Anna Dobbie.
Professor Dr Patrick Treacy comments:
“The platform's focus on transparency, practitioner verification, governance and quality assurance addresses some of the most pressing challenges currently facing our industry. By strengthening standards and promoting independent oversight, Twiqk has the potential to enhance public trust and support responsible practitioners.”
