Trichologist makes international history with dual Fellowships

Hair and scalp specialist Eva Proudman FIT IATF has made history by coming the only trichologist to hold Fellowship status with both the International Association of Trichologists (IATF) and the Institute of Trichologists.

Granted in April of this year, Fellowship of the IATF is one of the profession's highest honours and places Eva in a unique position worldwide.

Eva, whose flagship clinic is based in Grandborough near Rugby, comments:

“To be awarded Fellowship status with the International Association of Trichologists is incredibly special. Holding Fellowships with both organisations is something I'm immensely proud of, but what matters most to me is being able to bring the highest international standards of evidence based care to people across the UK.”

Eva's success also challenges assumptions around age and career progression. A former businesswoman, she retrained in trichology in her late 40s after discovering a strong aptitude for the discipline, a move she describes as life changing. Over the past two decades she has built a thriving specialist practice with clinics across the UK.

She also leads the award‑winning range of Tricoextra at‑home hair and scalp care products.

In addition, Eva's work has taken her into the public eye through television appearances on The Hair Loss Clinic, alongside a growing social media presence and regular expert discussions with figures from the hair and trichology sector.
