Salon review site supports case for industry

Salon review platform, salonspy, has revealed that data it obtained from client reviews formed part of The Wella Company's presentation to UK Chancellor, Rishi Sanuk, ahead of him making the decision to detach hair and beauty salons from the hospitality sector and the restrictions imposed on them.

salonspyWorking closely with Wella Professionals, salonspy added an additional question to their client review form, asking ‘did our hygiene standards make you feel safe in the current environment?' During the review period of 4th July to 18th October 2020, in excess of 33,000 salon clients were questioned following their appointments at participating salons. Results showed that 99% of respondents answered ‘yes'.

Commenting on the results of their client reviews, Adam Thomas, founder of salonspy, says:

“We knew the additional questionnaire would help build client confidence when visiting salons and we were delighted to help Wella Professionals fight the corner of the hair and beauty industry by providing such powerful data.”
