Puig adds Dr. Barbara Sturm skincare to brand portfolio

Global beauty house Puig has acquired a majority stake in German molecular cosmetics brand Dr. Barbara Sturm.

Founded in 2014 by doctor and pioneer in the field of anti-inflammatory treatments, Dr Barbara Sturm, the premium brand comprises skincare, bodycare, haircare and supplements.

Brand founder Dr Barbara Sturm retains a minority stake and takes on the roles of Chief Product Development Officer and Brand Ambassador continuing to lead product development.

The brand is used across a network of spas in London, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Düsseldorf, Jakarta and Singapore.

Commenting on the acquisition, Marc Puig, Chairman and CEO of Puig, says:
