People4Ocean marine-safe SPF comes to UK
Australian sun care brand People4Ocean is now available in the UK, offering environmentally-friendly SPF options.
According to People4Ocean, 97% of sunscreens contain toxic ingredients harmful to marine life. Studies have shown that Oxybenzone, Octinoxate and Octocrylene UV filters used in some mainstream chemical sunscreens are damaging to waterways, are harmful to aquatic life, act as hormone disruptors and impacting coral reefs.
People4Ocean products are free of all water polluting ingredients, are biodegradable and 100% reef-safe formulas, and developed in collaboration with Australian Spa label La Gaia Unedited.
Formulations are kind to skin, combining clean and active botanicals with mineral-rich ingredients that are suitable for vegetarians; Australian sustainable beeswax being the only animal by-product included.
The
People4Ocean range includes SPF30 and SPF50 sun screen products and after sun lotion.
