OPI embrace 90s nostalgia for autumn '25 nails
OPI's new autumn collection, What's Your Mani-tude? is inspired by a remix of 90's icons to give manicures a nostalgic new attitude.
The collection comprises 12 highly pigmented moody crèmes and shimmers in OPI's Nail Lacquer, GelColor Intelli-Gel System™ and Powder Perfection formulas (select shades), with12 additional shades in Infinite Shine and 12 xPRESS/ON press-on sets.
Commenting on the launch of the What's Your Mani-tude? collection, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI's Co-Founder and Brand Ambassador, says:
"What's Your Mani-tude? uses color [sic] to tap into a simpler time. The collection name, ‘mani-tude,' is a playful blend of ‘manicure' and ‘attitude,' and it represents the way personality is expressed through nail design. The crèmes, shimmers, and press-ons in this collection are meant to mix and match – letting wearers showcase their mood, style, or mindset with a manicure.”
Jill Bartoshevich, OPI's Global Director of Color Equity, adds:
"In this collection, we've turned to the fashion trends of the 90s to evoke warm feelings of nostalgia. Nail Lacquer/GelColor hero shades Slip Dressed Up, a brick red crème, and Grunge Queen, a semi-sheer black with red shimmer, call to mind bomber jackets, combat boots, slip dresses and platform shoes. Infinite Shine hero shades Track Suited Cutie, a semi-sheer shimmery mauve, and Knee High Stock-blings, a semi-sheer apricot shimmer, give a nod to velour track suits and preppy knee-high stockings. Together, these saturated, fun and playful shades encourage authentic expression.”
