NHBF opens nominations for Top 50 beauty influencers

The National Hair & Beauty Federation (NHBF) has opened nominations for its annual Top 50 Beauty Influencers awards, which return for a sixth year.

The initiative celebrates UK-based creators, educators and industry leaders working across beauty, nails, spa and aesthetics. Designed to recognise those making a meaningful impact both online and within the profession, the awards place emphasis on genuine engagement and professional expertise rather than follower numbers alone.

To ensure a robust and credible selection process, the NHBF uses a third party to monitor engagement. The awards are intended to highlight talent, professionalism and innovation across the sector, recognising individuals helping to shape the future of the beauty industry.
Last year's top position was awarded to dermatologist Dr Aamina Adel.

Nominations are free and open to the entire industry. Professionals may nominate multiple individuals and self-nominations are also welcomed.

To be eligible, nominees must either hold a recognised industry qualification from a regulated awarding organisation or be able to demonstrate at least five years of continuous professional experience within their field.

The NHBF is also encouraging nominees to share their entries across social media channels to help raise visibility, celebrate colleagues and support the continued growth of the professional beauty industry.

The 2026 rankings will be revealed later this year, with the final winner and full Top 50 list announced at Professional Beauty, taking place at ExCeL London in October.
