Mooeys launches salon-recorded podcast series

Amy Lewis, ABT member and founder of the Mooeys chain of salons, has launched Moo Chats, a podcast recorded inside its seven salons across southern England. 

Moo Chats is filmed and recorded on the salon floor, featuring real voices from within the business. Episodes are hosted by Amy and include contributions from salon managers, in-house specialists, the operations team and clients, with discussions reflecting the realities of working in the beauty industry. 

Topics covered so far include mental health, burnout, confidence, leadership, motherhood and grief, alongside honest conversations about running and growing a salon business. Each episode closes with the same question, “What's for dinner?”, reinforcing the informal, community-led approach behind the concept.

The podcast was created after Amy (pictured left) recognised a sense of disconnection from day-to-day salon life as Mooeys expanded. With the founder now working remotely from her nearest location, Moo Chats has become a creative outlet and a direct line back to the salon floor conversations that originally inspired the brand.
