Mii supports refugee charity to raise £21,000

Mii Cosmetics recently supported the Foundation For Change beauty sale, raising much needed funds to Help Refugees UK, and smashing previous totals raising £21,000.

Help Refugees UK is a non-profit organisation supporting those fleeing war, persecution and climate change.
Now in its fourth year, the charity – which has the slogan ‘Choose Love' – has raised a total of over £51,000 to help the refugee crisis, and has attracted the of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Dawn O'Porter and Pamela Anderson.

The ‘Foundation For Change' one-day-only beauty sale took place in Shoreditch attracting over 400 people, and Mii donated product to sell with every penny raised donated to the charity.

Co-Organiser of ‘Foundation For Change' one-day-only beauty sale, Verity Cumming, says:

“We wanted to convey our heartfelt thanks to everyone at Mii for your incredibly generous donation to the Foundation For Change beauty sale. We are absolutely delighted to let you know that this year we smashed all of our previous records and raised £21,000 for Help Refugees!'

She adds:

“This money is already going towards food for families, supporting women's safe spaces and supplying tents, books, life-saving warm clothing for children and adults and much much more. Thank you so much for helping us to make this possible.”

Mii has also supported ‘Make A Difference', Centrepoint's charity for homeless young people. Each year they are sent a Christmas gift of beauty products to open on Christmas day, all donated by beauty brands and companies including Mii Cosmetics.

Jennifer Davies, brand manager for Mii Cosmetics, comments:

“We are thrilled to support such worthy causes, and spread some beauty joy.”
