HONA marks British Beauty Week with MP visit

Nail brand HONA welcomed their local Member of Parliament to their headquarters to celebrate British Beauty Week.
Jessica Morden, Member of Parliament for Newport East, was invited by HONA to highlight the Welsh brand's commitment to innovation, safety and support of the professional nail community.
During Ms Morden's visit, HONA co-founders Charlotte and Michael Henson highlighted the scale and impact of the UK beauty and nail industry, discussing how small manufacturers and beauty entrepreneurs could be better supported through innovation grants and education partnerships.
In addition, Ms Morden was introduced to HONA's employee wellbeing policies, including offering six weeks' fully paid leave for new fathers and adoptive parents.
Whilst touring HONA's purpose-built lab in Newport, Ms Morden also had the opportunity to create a custom-scented cuticle oil.

Commenting on Ms Morden's visit, Michael Henson said:
“Our industry is not only creative and dynamic but also provides a significant contribution to the UK economy and supporting communities across the country. It was a privilege to host Jessica Morden during British Beauty Week and share how small Welsh businesses like ours are driving innovation, raising industry standards, and helping professional nail technicians thrive.”
