ESPA reveals new sensorial body products

Enjoy some me-time as ESPA launches a new collection of sensorial body products inspired by rituals of ancient Ayurvedic healing, Chinese medicine and Shamanic practices. Modern Alchemy features balm-to-oil and milk-to-oil textures, coupled with the ritual of skin-to-skin massage.

Each product in ESPA's Modern Alchemy collection is formulated using deeply symbolic flowers, adaptogenic roots and herbs which ground the body and enhance equilibrium, and Mushroom extract to help provide a sense of harmony and balance, as well as a higher sense of awareness. All are fragranced with an aromatic blend of Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood and Vetiver. 

The collection includes The Cleansing Milk with a luxurious cream-to-oil texture with pH balancing Shikakai and soothing Turmeric butter. Smooth skin with The Purifying Polish exfoliating balm inspired by ancient purification ceremonies with natural exfoliant Lava Beads, hydrating Opuntia Cactus, and Nutgrass, an Ayurvedic herb from India which is naturally soothing and brightening.

The Grounding Crystals are a soothing salt soak inspired by ancient traditions to re-energise and purify skin. These detoxifying pink crystals of Himalayan Pink Salt, Epsom Salt and Amber extract leave skin feeling soft, nourished and deeply cleansed.

The Anointing Bath and Body Oil features skin plumping Amazonian superfruit Andiroba oil, anti-inflammatory Hemp Seed Oil, and Sesame Seed Oil. 

Applied prior to showering or bathing as a balancing massage ritual, or after cleansing to seal in moisture, The Nourishing Balm melts to the warmth of touch and transforms into a rich oil. It features Phytocannabinoids from Patchouli, CBD, moisturising Fireweed. antioxidant Amla,and skin soothing Curcumin.

Finish the ESPA's Modern Alchemy bathing ritual with The Hydrating Lotion, a delicate milk texture massaged onto the skin to gently calm skin, body and mind. It is blended with Sweet Basil to restore balance and counteract environmental stress, Macca Root to enhance skin elasticity and firmness, and soothing Saw Palmetto.
