UK spas get ready for National Spa Week

There are just three weeks until this year's National Spa Week, promoting the benefits of spas to UK consumers with discounts and incentives.

National Spa Week 2018 runs from 10th to 17th September, and is organised by the UK Spa Association.

Currently over 150 UK spas have signed up to participate in National Spa Week, offering a range of discounted therapies and spa packages that include facials, massages and specialist treatments. Spas committed to the promotion include Champneys, The Lowry Hotel, The Grove, Macdonald Hotels, The Belfry, ESPA Life at the Corinthia, Foxhills Club & Resort, and Q Hotels.

Offers range from deals for two friends spa-ing together to a minimum 20% discount off individual treatments, with packages and appointments bookable from 10th September.

Lisa Barden, vice chair for the UK Spa Association says:

“With the nation being more tuned in and stressed out than ever before, our spas are well placed to provide for the physical and emotional needs of today and to help people properly disconnect and recharge. This is why we are particularly thrilled to be partnering with Spabreaks.com and Lumity this year in our continued quest to improve the wellbeing and wellness of the UK. We are delighted that so many spas across the UK are coming together with exclusive packages to offer the public the chance to see for themselves.”

Official booking partner of the event, Spabreaks.com, is also celebrating its 10th anniversary during National Spa Week and offering a free Nails inc nail polish to those booking a spa day during from 10th to 17th September (t's & c's apply).

Commenting on National Spa Week, Abi Wright from Spabreaks.com says:

“We are so excited to be supporting the UK Spa Association's 2018 National Spa Week. For a long time our industry has been trying to move away from the perception that spas are purely about beauty.  It is so much more than that. Spas are for ‘every body', no matter age, shape, size or gender. We want to be able to encourage more people, into more spas, more often and for them to realise that spas can be incredibly beneficial.”

“There are so many packages available that are designed help combat everything from stress, insomnia and sports injuries to more serious medical conditions. Treatments can help alleviate the symptoms of cancer and can be part of an overall wider remit for those with mental health issues.”
