L’Oréal Paris unveil Havana X Camila Cabello

Camila Cabello, spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris, has unveiled her Havana cosmetics collection in collaboration with the beauty giant.

Camila is the first of L'Oréal Paris' spokespeople to launch a make-up range with the brand.

Fourteen items are available in the Havana x Camila Cabello collection including Flash Liner Liquid Eyeliner, neutral shade eyeshadows, Lip Dew Lip Gloss, and Gotta Give Liquid Brow. The collection also includes two shades of Sun-Lit Liquid Bronzer, L'Oréal Paris' first liquid bronzing product. 

Havana x Camila Cabello is said to be inspired by Camila's Cuban-Mexican heritage, and is named after her world-wide hit Havana which has become the most-streamed song by a female artist on Spotify, with over 888 million streams. Products have been designed to withstand heat and humidity whilst being light enough to not block pores. 

The singer-songwriter joined L'Oréal Paris as spokesperson last year, after initially gaining success through the X Factor in 2012 aged just 15 where she became part of all-girl group Fifth Harmony. Since 2016 she has since enjoyed phenomenal solo success around the world. As well as making music, Camila uses her influence to support Save the Children as well as stand with the LGBTQ community. In 2016, she was named one of 2016's most influential teens by Time magazine.

Commenting on the Havana x Camila Cabello from L'Oréal Paris, Camila says:

"I am extremely proud and excited about the Havana collection. I wanted to create products that not only I would personally wear, but that would work well across various skin tones. For me, looking and feeling my best helps fuel my confidence and I hope to inspire other people to feel the same."

Unveiling the range to her 22.6 million Instagram followers, she said: 

“Every single one of these products I picked carefully and tested on myself and other girls at L'Oréal team. the products look amazing on EVERY skin tone which was really important for me and the amazing women at L'Oréal and I all worked hard to make sure these product worked for every girl [sic].”

The Havana x Camila Cabello collection is set to be available in the UK later this summer.
