Still time to take part in National Spa Week

This week is National Spa Week, which runs across the UK from 10th to 17th September.

Organised by the UK Spa Association, the not-for-profit trade body representing the UK's 8,000 spas, the week-long event brings together the spa community to celebrate all things spa. The event is held in partnership with spa booking agency, Spabreaks.com and brand partner Lumity.

During National Spa Week, member spas will be offering customers a host of treatments and packages at special event prices, including everything from massage to facials plus specialist treatments.

Over 150 spas have already signed up to the initiative including The Lowry Hotel, The Belfry, Champneys, and ESPA Life at the Corinthia.

Commenting on the week, Abi Wright from Spabreaks.com says:

“We are so excited to be supporting the UK Spa Association's 2018 National Spa Week.  For a long time our industry has been trying to move away from the perception that spas are purely about beauty.  It is so much more than that.  Spas are for ‘every body', no matter age, shape, size or gender.  We want to be able to encourage more people, into more spas, more often and for them to realise that spas can be incredibly beneficial.”

“There are so many packages available that are designed help combat everything from stress, insomnia and sports injuries to more serious medical conditions. Treatments can help alleviate the symptoms of cancer and can be part of an overall wider remit for those with mental health issues.”

As an added incentive, Spabreaks.com is offering a free NailsInc nail polish to those booking a spa day during spa week (terms and conditions apply).
