A number of beauty and hair brands have been recognised at the annual World Branding Awards.

Schwarzkopf (Germany), Natura Brasil (Brazil), Nivea (Germany), Sasa (Hong Kong), Natural Aqua Gel Cure (Japan), and AmorePacific (South Korea) were lauded at a ceremony at the State Apartments of Kensington Palace, London.

Winners were judged based on brand valuation, consumer market research, and a public vote which took place online; the consumer vote comprised 70% of the overall score.

As well as Haircare, Beauty Products, Health & Beauty, and Beauty Retail, categories were as diverse as Confectionary and Banking, with 270 different global brands competing from 33 countries. Only one brand per country could win their category. Other winners included Cartier, Lego, Louis Vuitton and BMW amongst others.

Richard Rowles, Chairman of the World Branding Forum, says:

“The awards celebrate the achievements of some of the greatest brands around the globe. With an average of just six winners per country, it is truly a great achievement to be a winner of these awards.”
