Institut Esthederm & Bioderma to host skincare webinars

Sister skincare brands Institut Esthederm and Bioderma have teamed up with Dr Sophie Shotter and Dr Emma Craythorne to hold a series of online group talks over the coming weeks tackling a host of common skincare concerns.

The first takes place this week, on Thursday 13th August, and will address Hyperpigmentation.

All workshops will be held on Zoom and provide an opportunity to learn more from a professional as well as asking any skincare questions.

Dr Sophie Shotter is a highly qualified doctor with over 11 years of medical experience previously working in the NHS and now specialising in aesthetics. She set up her award-winning private clinic, Illumiate, in 2014, and has a special interest in holistic approaches to anti-ageing and wellness. As the clinic's Medical Director, she delivers and oversees all treatments herself, taking great personal interest in each of her clients, their conditions and their objectives.

Dr Emma Craythorne is a Consultant Dermatologist, Dermatological and Laser Surgeon and Mohs Micrographic Surgeon at the St Johns Institute of Dermatology at Guys and St Thomas Hospital NHS Trust in London. She is Lead of the Specialist Skin Cancer Multi-Disciplinary Team and has also established a successful private practice which is renowned for treating patients with wide and complex dermatology needs. She is also the Lead for Quality at the St Johns Institute of Dermatology and is the current President of the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group.  

Institut Esthederm Group Talks with Dr Shotter will take place every other Thursday and include:

  • 13th August - Hyperpigmentation
  • 27th August - Photo-ageing
  • 10th September - Adult-acne
  • 24th September - Aesthetics procedures
  • 8th October - Fine lines and wrinkles
  • 22nd October - Lack of firmness
  • 5th November - Lack of density
Bioderma Group Talks with Dr Craythorne will take place every other Wednesday and include:

  • 19th August - Skin & sun
  • 2nd September - Acne-prone skin
  • 16th September - Ingredient decoder
  • 30th September - Scars management
  • 14th October - Steps of a good skincare routine
  • 28th October - Uneven skin tone and pigmentation
