Alaffia launches Age Defying skincare range

Natural beauty social enterprise Alaffia has introduced a new Age Defying Collection of skincare products for the face and body. 

Formulated to promote an even, resurfaced skin tone, the Age Defying Collection diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also builds a barrier to protect skin from harmful environmental aggressors.

The cruelty-free and alcohol-free collection includes four products: Alaffia Age Defying Serum can either be used in the morning under make-up or as an overnight serum to revive, firm and deeply hydrate skin and provide continued protection against environmental aggressors. Age Defying Mask is a peel off face mask which helps to purify and detoxify skin revealing a smoother complexion while supporting elasticity, firmness and overall radiance. Age Defying Face Scrub exfoliates, resurfaces and refines skin by sloughing off dead skin cells and removing impurities. It also minimises the appearance of uneven skin tone. Finally, Age Defying Body Scrub is a gentle yet effective formulation that regenerates skin's luminosity and suppleness, while detoxifying and deeply cleansing, to reveal a balanced skin tone.

Key ingredients in Alaffia's Age Defying Collection include Okra extract packed with vitamins A, K and C, instrumental in Collagen production; Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Hexapeptide-12 to boost Collagen and strengthen connective tissue; and Jasmine stem cells enriched with Mangosteen tree fruit to restore and heal.

Established over 15 years ago, Alaffia's social enterprise model means ingredients are ethically sourced from Alaffia's women's cooperatives in West Africa via Fair for Life standards.
